GRAVES HALL
Graves Hall is a co-ed residence hall in the center of campus at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. The hall features suite-style rooms, with two adjoining double-occupancy bedrooms connected by a shared bathroom. Each floor has shared community kitchenettes and dedicated spaces for student development programs. Graves also has an elevated outdoor courtyard for social gatherings and events. Approximately 400 freshman students live in the new residence hall. Graves is home to the Freshman Leadership Program, a Living Learning Community.
As the general contractor, Vrana built a residence hall that balances comfort, durability, and innovation. From initial planning through final construction, our team worked closely with Creighton University and design partners to ensure every detail served both function and student well-being.
It’s the first building in North America to use VirtuHOT HD, a solar-powered system produced by Naked Energy in the United Kingdom and implemented by ELM Companies that heats all water used in the residence hall.
